Outbound Student Exchange Program
| Program Introduction | The outbound student exchange program is a program in which the students of Hanyang University are sent to another affiliated university abroad, according to a bilateral exchange agreement between the two schools in regards to the student and their exchange of credits. The student is then able to study at the partnered university for a certain period of time, according to the agreement. |

| Eligibility for Application |
1. Eligible students : Seoul and ERICA campus students who have completed their second to the sixth semester - For those who are enrolled under a five-year degree, students who have completed their second to the eighth semester 2. Academic requirements : Must have an average GPA of 2.5 (Including F grades) - For graduate students, their average GPA for both their undergraduate and graduate studies must be higher than a 2.5 GPA in total. 3. Language Proficiency Scores - For English-speaking countries (the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Ireland, etc.): IBT TOEFL score of 75 or above, or an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 or above |

Hanyang ERICA Summer School
| Program Introduction | Hanyang ERICA Summer School (HESS) is a short-term education program started for foreign students living abroad in Korea during their summer vacation every year. The students who participate in the program will learn about Korea’s politics, economy, society, history, and culture through classes at the university and other various cultural experiences outside of the university. HESS will be an opportunity for Hanyang University students and students from universities abroad to build academic and cultural exchange opportunities. |

Short-term Program: Recognition of Language Study Credits Earned Abroad
| Program Introduction | The language study abroad credit recognition program recognizes three credits (elective credits) if a student takes a language course for two weeks / 48 hours or more and receives a certification of completion at a foreign university or a university subsidiary language institute that issues a two to four-year degree. |

Short-term Program: Study Abroad Program for Summer / Winter School
| Program Introduction | The study abroad program for summer and winter school is a program in which students pay their own expenses to participate in International Summer / Winter schools hosted by other universities affiliated with Hanyang University during the vacation period and receive recognition from Hanyang University through a study abroad program. |

Hanmille(ERICA) : Exchange Program with Foreign Exchange Students (Seoul Campus)
| Program Introduction | Hanmille is a community service program that allows Hanyang University students to earn 30 community service hours while helping foreign exchange students adapt to Korean life through campus life and other cultural experiences. |

Visiting Program - Student Financed Study Abroad
| Program Introduction | After the student is admitted to a study abroad program at a foreign university, the program allows the student to study for one or two semesters (a year) at that university and accepts academic credits within a certain range. |

| Selection Procedure | 1. Registration on the HY-in portal website based on the fixed registration schedule (Annually in June and December) 2. Submission of the application form and other required documents to the students’ affiliated department’s administration team 3. The students’ affiliated department’s administration team gathers all relevant documents together and sends them out to the Office of International Affairs. 4. The Office of International Affairs sends out a list of finalized students to the individual departments’ administration teams. |

Study Abroad Scholarship
| Program Introduction | Since 1981, Hanyang University has been the first Korean university to implement this system to train talented students to have a more international outlook and global abilities. This is a program that provides scholarships to Hanyang University graduates that wish to study abroad for their master’s / doctoral degrees from other graduate schools. |

| Eligibility for Application | 1. A student with a Bachelor’s degree from Hanyang University, with an average GPA of 3.5 for both their undergraduate and master’s courses (Master’s degree can be obtained at both their home university or at other universities) 2. A student who has not passed three years since obtaining their master’s or bachelor’s degree (excluding military service period) 3. Students who are scheduled to enroll into a master’s and doctoral degree course of study abroad during their period of application (This program will begin its period of application in May.) 4. Students who are under the age of 35 5. Students who do not have any study abroad restrictions 6. Students who are capable of speaking the main language of the university abroad. If the university is located in an English-speaking country, the student must have a TOEFL IBT score of 91 or more, and an IELTS score of 6.5 or more (same for those majoring in the field of arts and sports) For countries that speak other languages, the student must submit other language proficiency scores implemented by that country (However, English scores may be additionally required if needed.) |
