1. Eligible students : Seoul and ERICA campus students who have completed their second to the sixth semester

- For those who are enrolled under a five-year degree, students who have completed their second to the eighth semester
- For some partner universities located in China and Japan, graduate students are also eligible to apply.

2. Academic requirements : Must have an average GPA of 2.5 (Including F grades)

- For graduate students, their average GPA for both their undergraduate and graduate studies must be higher than a 2.5 GPA in total.
- For transfer students, their grades from their previous university and from Hanyang University must be higher than a 2.5 GPA in total.

3. Language Proficiency Scores

- For English-speaking countries (the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Ireland, etc.): IBT TOEFL score of 75 or above, or an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 or above
- Europe/South America/Other Asian countries: IBT TOEFL score of 75 or above, or an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 or above, or an ITP TOEFL score of 550 or above
- For Chinese-speaking countries and Japan: Students are not required to submit a language proficiency score to apply for this program. However, language proficiency scores may be required by different universities. In this event, the student must fulfill the required university’s language proficiency requirements.
(If a student has a language score from the new HSK and JLPT tests, then that student will earn extra points based on the foreign language performance conversion table.)

① Students will only be admitted once while they are enrolled at the university.
② Private language institute courses will not be acknowledged.
③ Students must register for this program before departing South Korea (Students’ credits will not be acknowledged after their course completion under any circumstances)

- Language Study Abroad Credit Recognition Application Form which can be found on the HY-in Portal website
- Admission Letter
- A copy of one’s passport and airline ticket

- Winter School semester (late February) : Students who submit their certificate of completion from September to February
- Summer School semester (late August) : Students who submit their certificate of completion from March to August

1. Winter / Summer School

- Must be a student who is enrolled at either the Seoul or ERICA campus, with an average GPA of 2.0
- From the time of their application, students must be an enrolled student or a student who is on a leave of absence who has completed their 1st to seventh semester only.
- Soon to-be-graduating students and students who have delayed their graduation are ineligible to apply.

2. Regular Semester

- Must be a student who is enrolled at Seoul or ERICA campus, with an average GPA of 2.5
- From the time of their application, students must be an enrolled student who has completed their second to sixth semester. They must also be an enrolled student even during their outbound period.
- Soon to-be-graduating students and students who have delayed their graduation are ineligible to apply.
